What is a Nutrition Specialist?


A Nutrition Specialist is a nutritionist, counselor, mentor, confidant, and motivator all in one. Any questions and concerns regarding food, exercise, health, and overall wellness, a nutrition specialist is here to help.




What makes SUNutrition meal plans different from others?


SUNutrition plans are handmade specifically for YOU. Each plan is approached individually and focused on the client's happiness and well-being. I will never become the fitness professional who sends out copy + pasted, vague, stereotypical meal plans. I create enjoyable, attainable meal plans where it won't feel like a "diet" because it isn't. I show clients how it is possible to eat their favorite foods and still reach their goals. I intend to help clients build healthy, positive habits that promote gradual lifestyle changes.




What is included in a meal plan?


Under the SHOP tab, click each plan to read what is included specifically in that plan seeing as they differ. But EVERY plan is based off of your age, height, weight, and level of physical activity to ensure that you are eating enough calories to nourish your body and optimizing your metabolism. The plan is tailored to your goals, food preferences, specific needs, and daily schedule. You choose what type of foods you want to eat and how many meals you want to eat per day. From there, there are 4 options per meal so you don't feel like you are eating the same thing everyday.




How do I know if I need a meal plan?


Ask yourself... - Am I not reaching my goals? - Have I reached a plateau in my weight loss / muscle gain? - Are my meals sporadic and inconsistent? - Do I need to be held accountable? - Do I feel lost on where to begin with meal prepping and eating wholesome foods? - Are my current eating habits unhealthy? - Am I eating enough, too much, or too little? If any of these questions apply to you, a meal plan would be beneficial for you!




I'm vegetarian / vegan / gluten free etc... is that okay?


Yes, I can make accommodations to any dietary restriction. I've worked with vegans, vegetarians, dairy-free, GF, very picky eaters, and a variety of medical conditions. See the "Experience" box on the HOME page for a more detailed list of client accommodations that I have worked with.




Is there a monthly fee?


No, the price you see is the one time price you pay that covers the duration of the plan. The only plan that is a monthly payment is the reverse diet due to the many minor changes and adjustments that need to be made with the reverse diet.




Are there payment plans available?


Yes! There are monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly payment plans available. Contact me and we can discuss which payment plan is going to work best for you and the plan you're interested in. From there, I make a personal discount code for you where you can make the first payment towards your plan.




How does this process work?


Once you have decided on your plan (contact me if you need help deciding which plan is best fitting for you), add it to the cart, enter any applicable discount codes, and checkout. From there, you will receive a confirmation email where there is a questionnaire attached. Fill out the questionnaire, email it back to me, I'll contact you with any follow-up questions, and you can expect your plan within the week.




What are your certifications?


I have my Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Coastal Carolina University. I am a certified Fitness & Nutrition Specialist and Weight Loss Specialist through NASM. Personally, I have always been an athlete; I played softball for 15 years, rugby for 2, and competed in bodybuilding competitions for 4 years where I earned my Pro Card in the Bikini Division in 2016. I am always striving to expand my knowledge, grow, and use my own experiences to help others to the best of my ability.
